Hello.

I am Eddie Shannon, an interaction designer living and working in Yorkshire. I’m currently working in HMPPS, part of the Ministry of Justice, involved with prison and probation-related services. I am also working part time with the Government Digital Service (GDS) on an identity-related service.

In the past I have worked as a designer for the Department of Work and Pensions and did a stint at the Department for Education.

In 2015 I moved up to Yorkshire after a decade in London where most recently I was the Head of Design for the Ministry of Justice Digital team. There I led a group of designers, helping to create the department’s next generation of digital services.

Previously I’ve worked at companies such as Electrolux and Nokia, as well as agencies like BERG and AKQA.
